Australian grocery wholesaler Market Grocer has recalled Raisins, Crimson Raisins and Cranberry Fruit and Nut Mix as they may contain sulphur dioxide, which is not declared on the packaging of the products, according to Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ).

The products subject to recall include Market Grocer Raisins, Market Grocer Crimson Raisins and Market Grocer Cranberry Fruit and Nut Mix, with best before dates up to and including 30 November 2013.

These products have been manufactured in New South Wales, using raw ingredient imported from Chile. The products were available for sale at Thomas Dux Grocers, Harris Farm Markets and other independent grocers across the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales and Victoria.

Consumers allergic or intolerant to sulphur dioxide should not consume this product. Customers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund .
