Coface has appointed Laurent Mignon as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company following the end of Franois David's mandate.

The new presidency change is a part of firm's continuity of the strategic orientations while the Board of Directors fully supports Coface's refocusing on its core business,credit insurance.

Since December 2010,Coface is refocusing,combined with a refined management of risks to better accompany clients and has been implemented by Chief Executive Officer Jean-Marc Pillu.

From 1997 to 2007,Laurent held services with AGF successively as Chief Financial Officer,Executive Committee,Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of the Life and Financial Services sector.

He also served as Chief Executive Officer of AGF Group,Chairman of the Executive Committee and member of the Executive Committee of Allianz and as Managing Partner of Oddo&Cie,alongside Philippe Oddo from September 2007 until May 2009.

Prior to the appointment,Laurent Mignon served Natixis,shareholder of Coface as Chief Executive Officer since 2009.

Laurent is a member of the Board of Directors and Strategic Committee of Sequana in addition to member of the Board of Directors and the Audit and Accounts Committee of Arkema as well as a member of Director of Lazard,Board of Directors of Coface and Censor at the Supervisory Board of BPCE.
