FedEx Trade Networks said it has named Jack Muhs its new CEO.

Muhs has worked at FedEx Corp. since 1984, the company said in a Feb. 10 statement. He previously was a senior vice president at FedEx Express, overseeing its U.S. export business.

“FedEx Trade Networks has experienced impressive growth since beginning its global expansion, and I look forward to continuing the momentum to provide customers around the globe with unique FedEx freight forwarding solutions,” Muhs said in the statement.

FedEx Trade Networks is the freight forwarding arm of parcel carrier FedEx Corp., which ranks No. 2 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
